Beyond my love for motorsports, my greatest passion lies in international child welfare service. I have had the privilege of volunteering in four countries–the United States, the Philippines, the Dominican Republic, and Brazil–and have led multiple initiatives that provided thousands of necessities to children worldwide. Each experience has deepened my commitment to addressing the issues faced by underprivileged children in underdeveloped communities. Recognizing these challenges and taking action towards the UN SDGS to make a difference is crucial. I invite you to explore the pictures and links below to learn more about my work and the impact we can make together.
Philippines
Summer of 2023 I took a trip back to my home country after 11 years. I decided that the perfect way to end my visit was to visit Project PEARLS in Tondo, Manila, also known as the slums of the Philippines. It was eye opening and marked the start of my international volunteer journey.
Dominican Republic
In January 2024, I embarked on a one-week mission trip to the Dominican Republic with the DR Mission Team. Each day, we all woke up early and traveled to the bateys of La Romana. There, we engaged in various activities, including food and medicine distribution, construction projects, and spending time playing with the children.
Brazil
Summer of 2024, I was fortunate enough to be accepted into a full-ride study abroad program with AFS Intercultural Programs. After completing 12 weeks of online classes, I spent a month studying abroad in Brazil. In addition to Portuguese lessons and STEM-related visits, I spent a morning with Projeto AMAR, an organization committed to supporting children in Natal, Brazil.
